The new investment platform puts the customer first, providing a frictionless and transparent investing experience
London, UK - Friday 30th September 2022 - With over three decades of financial markets experience and trusted heritage, The CMC Group is proud to launch its new UK investor platform - CMC Invest - with the aim of supporting customers throughout their entire investment journey.
With the rising cost of living, the need for financial wellness is more important than ever and greater emphasis is being placed on future financial stability. CMC Invest is an investment platform with no hidden costs, driven by the needs of customers, aiming to help each user build their own personal investment strategy.
Every investment journey is personal and smart investing starts with knowing what you're investing for. Each investor will have a particular goal in mind for their investments – for example, to buy a house or save for retirement. With careful planning and management, customers can set out on their journey to achieving their goal. Money is personal and how it is invested should be too. Customers will be invited to become a part of the CMC Invest community upon joining. The community will be used to help inform app development by allowing customers the chance to request new features or for new investments to be added, receive customer support, chat amongst other members in the community and meet the team behind the app.
Every decision taken during the build of the investment platform was done with the customer in mind. It has been built internally from beginning to end - therefore never depending on third parties - and enables flexible, targeted and fast-moving development built around responding quickly to consumer needs and usage trends. The investment platform was built using scalable cloud-based technology and processes that enable CMC Invest to release new features continuously in a secure and highly automated manner. The platform can therefore react quickly to user feedback within hours rather than days or weeks - providing a better customer experience.
The CMC Invest platform brings value and security without hidden costs. The app is free to download and use, with no minimum spend required. From today, customers can invest in UK and US shares, ETFs and Investment Trusts. Investments are commission-free. Users can expect a competitive 0.5% foreign exchange fee, which will always be displayed.
To help kick-start their journey with CMC Invest, new customers will also receive a £50 welcome bonus if they open an account and fund with a minimum of £50 within 30 days. In the coming months, stocks and shares ISAs and USD currency wallets will be introduced on a monthly subscription model.
